What is Carrier Cache?
Carrier Cache is the world's most memory efficient and most secure in-memory cache server.
Why should I purchase Carrier Cache?
Carrier Cache is so efficient it can lower your hardware and hosting costs. You'll be able to use fewer servers for the same amount of data. Or, you can use the same number of servers to 2x or 3x your cache capacity instantly.
How can I pay you?
We support online credit card, bank transfer ACH, and wire transfer payments. To arrange payment by check, PO, a different currency, equity, or with meaningless devalued electronic tokens, please contact us.
What does a "license" mean?
Carrier Cache is licensed per-server regardless of core count or total memory capacity. Licenses are non-transferable and must be renewed annually. If your license lapses due to non-renewal, you must stop using Carrier Cache.
Trials? Refunds?
Carrier Cache offers free unlocked trial downloads at our getting started page. The only limit of trial downloads is they have a restricted up time of between 2 and 7 days. Carrier Cache Trial downloads gives you the opportunity to experiment with Carrier Cache architecture before purchasing full production licenses.
How are upgrades delivered?
You can subscribe to our mailing list to keep updated with news about upcoming releases. We notify license holders by email with custom download details for each new release.
What if I need more licenses a few months after initial purchase?
You can add additional licenses to your account at any time. Simply buy more licenses with the same Legal Owner and Email address as your original purchase to have new licenses added to your existing account. All licenses will renew one year after initial purchase.
Are there different licenses?
Carrier Cache offers custom license arrangements for different use cases. For example: We offer custom license criteria based on if you have thousands of cache servers, or if you are deploying a million IoT devices needing the most efficient memory usage, or if you want Carrier Cache bundled with an in-house appliance or CPE deployment. If you're curious about other license arrangements, just contact us.
What are the usage boundaries for licenses?
One license is for one production server. You many run as many instance of Carrier Cache in development or testing as needed.
What if we need to scale up REALLY FAST and can't buy licenses right away?
If you end up running more Carrier Cache instances in production than you have licenses for, you may purchase Catch-Up licenses at a penalty rate to remain in compliance.
How does Carrier Cache enforce license terms?
Carrier Cache licensing is contractual. There are no software traps, guards, or usage blocks with regard to enforcing licensing compliance.
Why comply with licensing?
If you end up audited, or in a due diligence situation, and are found to be in violation of licensing, your problems can range from derailing deals to purchasing Catch-Up licenses in bulk at the last minute at a license offender penalty rate. Don't copy that floppy.
